On 8 May 1871 Mary Elizabeth married Andrew White, son of James White & Mary Ann Lintlop, in Lakeville, Nova Scotia. Born abt 1845 in Northfield, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia. Andrew died in Nova Scotia.
Andrew White was a farmer. They were married at the Baptist church at Lakeville.
Andrew, according to the 1871 federal census (Lunenburg 195-B2, pp. 76-77), was illiterate and living in his father's household.
Andrew appears in the 1881 federal census (Kings 17-J1 [Aylesford South], p. 22). He resided in Aylesford, Nova Scotia. He was a farmer. The family is listed as being of Irish background, Baptist and born in Nova Scotia.
They had the following children:

On 28 Aug 1880 James married Mary Jane Veinot, daughter of Paulus Veinot & Eleanor Eichel. Born in 1863.
