The 1890 Swedish census states that Karl Olof Efverberg resided at Ölmehärad, Varmlands län. He was a farm hand (Dräng) in the household of Per Eriksson.

Emma Roberts had given birth to two children by 1910, of whom one was still stilling. They rented their home in an apartment building. Niels Roberts was a piano maker in a factory. He immigrated to the United States in 1895 and was naturalized. Emma Roberts immigrated to the United States in 1894 and was natutralized.
