The church records of St. Neots state that John Darlow was from Buckden, Huntingdonshire. However, he was not born in Buckden. He may be from neighbouring Bedfordshire.

In 1793 John married Ann Drew in St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, England. Born abt 1770 in England. Ann died in Sawtry, Huntingdonshire, England, on 3 Jul 1844; she was 74.2,1 Buried on 5 Jul 1844 in Buckden, Huntingdonshire, England.1

Ann Darlow appears in the 1841 British census with her grandchildren John, Isaac, Sarah, Willam and George Flanders at Irchester, Northamptonshire. (HO 107/802/7, Northamptonshire, Irchester, ED 7, folio 6, p. 5)

Ann died of diarrhea in Sawtry according to the records of the General Register Office. Two days later Ann was buried in Buckden according to church records there.
