On 18 Feb 1854 Isaac married Frances Ann Falt, daughter of Joseph Falt & Sarah Pennell, in Chester, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.1 Born on 21 Apr 1819.2 Frances Ann was baptized in Lunenburg, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, on 8 May 1819.2

Born on 29 Jul 1821 in Chester Grant, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.1 Daniel was baptized in Chester, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, on 29 Nov 1823.1 Daniel died bef 1911; he was 89. Occupation: Farmer, Cooper.

Daniel and Mary Ann Refuce with four children resided in the Chester census district, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia according to the 1871 Canadian federal census. The 1881 Canadian federal census states that Daniel and Mary Ann Rafuse with four children Chester census district, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. Daniel Rafuse was a farmer. On 11 Feb 1865 Daniel married Marianne Salzmann, daughter of George Michael Salzmann & Catherine Margaretha Ernst, in Chester, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.10 Born on 13 Jan 1828 in Martin’s River, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia. Marianne was baptized in Lunenburg, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, on 18 Mar 1828. Marianne died in Kingsport, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, on 25 Oct 1915; she was 87.10

According to the 1911 Canadian federal census, Mary Rafuse resided in Canard, Kings County, Nova Scotia. She lived in the household of her son Harry Rafuse. She was an Anglican. (RG 31-C-1, 1911, Nova Scotia, Kings Co., ED 48-2, Canard, p. 2)

Mary Rafuse died from an accidental fall.
