On 14 Oct 1897 George Timothy married Sarah Jane (Sadie) (Louisa) White, daughter of James Alfred White & Eleanor Ellen (Miriam) Crouse, in Rose Bay, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.8 Born on 15 Feb 1877 in Pleasant River Road, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.18 Sarah Jane (Sadie) (Louisa) died in Middleton, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, on 24 Feb 1970; she was 93. Buried in 1970 in Falkland Ridge, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia.

There are inconsistencies with the name. In the 1891 census, Sarah Jane White was recorded as Louisa White. There is no provincially recorded birth record. In later records, she is recorded as Sarah White or in marriage as Sarah Feener. Sarah White, later Feener was also known as Sadie.

Timothy and Sarah Feener with a daughter resided in the Blue Rocks census district, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia according to the 1901 Canadian federal census. Timothy Feener was a fisherman. The family were Lutherans. (RG 31-C-1, 1901, Nova Scotia, Lunenburg Co., ED 37-D, Blue Rocks, p. 3)

The 1911 Canadian federal census states that Timothy and Sarah Feener with twoi children resided at Falkland Ridge, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. Timothy Feener was a farmer. The family were Baptists. (RG 31-C-1, 1911, Nova Scotia, Annapolis Co., ED 37-27, Springfield, p. 9)
