Ada Lepla resided at 54 Withersfield Road, Haverhill, Essex according to the 1891 British census. She was living with her mother's brother Jesse Salmon and his wife. Jesse Salmon was a stationary engine drive for the Great Eastern Railroad. Ada Lepla and her Uncle Jesse Salmon were born at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Sophia Salmon was born at Lynn, Norfolk. The 1901 British census states that Ada Lepla resided at Drippenhall Street, Crondall, Hampshire. She was a boarder in the household of Jesse and Sarah Hoar. Ada Lepla was a boarding school teacher. She was born at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. [Note: Her landlord Jesse Hoar was the elder brother to her future husband.] (RG 13, piece 1101, folio 64, p. 21)

In 1903 Ada married Alfred John Hoar, son of Jesse Hoar & Mary Elizabeth Cowley, in Outwell, Norfolk, England. Born in 1870 in Crondall, Hampshire, England.
